About

My Work

I like to explore the strength of simplistic shapes and colors that speak to discretion, which combines a timeless perspective with subtle attitudes that form an irreverent classical signature.

Originally from New York City, now living in Austin, Texas, I started out as a fine artist (sculpture & oil painting), then moved into graphic design, then into website design.

After many years working in the tech world I am venturing back into fine art. I draw influence from the Renaissance, Baroque and Rococo periods, combining the characteristics of traditional oil painting with a modern, expressive approach.

Much of my work directly references the old masters through my choice of color, subject and composition.
